Dry, greyed oak with a single drawer and wooden knob, set on baluster-turned legs joined by low box stretchers. The top is framed with breadboard ends and carries old marks and a few open joints, and the stretchers are worn smooth with old splits in the grain. A side table, a small desk, or a spot beside a reading chair.
