A dark, heavy French butcher block table — the thick plank top banded at each corner with iron strapping secured by hand-cut nails, the surface worn to a near-black tone with deep grain texture and scattered surface checking. Below, the scalloped apron is carved with recessed diamond-point medallions at the corners, a single drawer centered and fitted with a small black bail pull, and four turned fluted legs on bun feet that give the piece an unexpected refinement given the raw character of the top.
Due to the unique antique and vintage nature of our pieces, all sales are final and sold as is. Our items are one-of-a-kind and can have wear consistent with age, including nicks, cracks, separation, doors and drawers that stick or don't close completely and patina which only adds to the character.
