Brushed cobalt runs loose across the front, a tight spiral, two fans of feathered strokes tipped with dots, and a fat lobed flower that fired almost purple where the blue pooled. The stoneware is a warm tan under a pitted salt glaze, with blue bands at the shoulder and foot and dashes down the two ear handles. Fine hairlines cross the body near one handle and there is a small glaze loss beside the fan, so it is better kept for dry use, wooden spoons on the counter or a bunch of branches.
