Grey salt glaze with an orange-peel texture covers a tall body that tapers from a wide foot to a narrow neck, with a small pinched spout and a strap handle. Cobalt is brushed on freely, in a large scrolling plume across the front, three-leaf sprigs at the sides, dashes down the handle and a band around the rim. The inside is a plain buff and there is no lid. The glaze has flaked in a line of small patches below the spout, and it would look good on a shelf holding stems or wooden spoons.
