Pale Belgian oak, dry and open in the grain, with a cushion-moulded frieze drawer running the full width beneath the top and two fielded-panel doors below. Instead of separate handles, the drawer and doors open from their locks. The top is boarded with breadboard ends and carries a few old rings, and the base sits on shaped bracket feet. Inside is a single shelf over a deep open space. Tall for a sideboard at 48.5 inches, it works as a bar or serving piece where a lower buffet would feel short.
