A small pine chest with a shaped gallery back, two short drawers over two long, all fitted with turned wood knobs and little iron keyholes. The arched splashback curves down into short side rails, and the top has worn to a scrubbed, dry surface. Turned feet at the front, plain block behind. Washstand-scaled, good as a bedside, a hall chest, or beside a sink.
