Antique English Copper Kettle

Round-bodied copper kettle with a gooseneck spout and an arched brass overhead handle — the grip bar worn flat and matte where hands have met it, the body a warm rosy copper with dark oxidation pooled in the lower curves and scattered clouding across the belly. The domed brass lid fits on a button finial, the whole thing solid and unhurried in form. Purely decorative at this point, but good on a shelf, a hearth, or a kitchen counter — it doesn't need much company.
