Nine drawers and a cupboard, laid out as two banks of four drawers either side of a centre drawer over a single panelled door. The pine is pale and dry, and the top shows its age most, with deep scratches, knots and long open grain across the boards. The round dark knobs are modern replacements and read darker than the case. It sits low on a plain plinth and is deep enough to take real weight on top. A good working piece for a kitchen, a mudroom or anywhere small things need sorting.
