Antique English Pine Stepback Hutch

A substantial antique stripped pine Welsh dresser, the open upper section fitted with two plate shelves against a vertical beadboard back and finished with a bold stepped cornice above, the base below with three frieze drawers fitted with original brass D-ring bail handles flanked by two raised-panel cupboard doors with small turned knobs and a central open kennel between them, all in pale, dry pine with good surface wear and the kind of patina that comes from long, practical use. A generous, grounded piece — the kind that anchors a room.
