Antique English Rush Stool

Woven rush seat over a dark-stained turned frame, with pad feet and doubled side stretchers. The rush has dried to a warm straw colour and pulled slightly at one corner, and the legs show old knocks along the lower turnings. Small enough to tuck under a console, sturdy enough to actually sit on.
