Antique English Washstand

A scrolled gallery rises along the back and sides of this English pine washstand, framing two shaped drawers over two long ones below, the whole case carried on generous turned feet. The surface has dried to a pale golden tone, with darker figuring gathered around the knobs and the gallery's rolled ends. Made to hold a basin once — just as good now in a bedroom or entry where that backboard can show.
