Antique French Cobbler Table (c.1920)

A primitive French cobbler's bench worn nearly black from a century of work, the plank top scarred and waxed deep, with a raised lip running the edge to keep small tools from rolling off. Single drawer with a turned wood knob, a low curved stretcher joining the square legs, and the original leather tool pouch still hanging at one side. Heavy and grounded, the surface built only by real use.
