Antique French Jardinere

A charming antique French jardinière with a sculptural, paneled form and softly scalloped rim, finished in a warm cream tone with areas of exposed iron showing through at the edges. Each side is detailed with raised floral and scroll motifs framed within molded borders, all resting on petite feet that give it a slightly elevated stance. Originally used to display indoor plants or fresh floral arrangements on tables and mantels, it brings that same function forward today. The surface shows expected wear with small chips and oxidation that add depth and texture without taking away from its structure.
