Antique French Jardinere

An antique French cast iron jardinière with a rectangular form, raised on small scrolled feet and detailed with a molded floral garland across the front. The surface shows a naturally aged patina with soft oxidation and areas of worn finish that highlight the depth of the casting. Substantial in weight with a gently flared rim, it would have originally been used as a decorative planter, bringing greenery indoors while protecting surfaces. Equally suited now as a tabletop planter, centerpiece, or styled empty to showcase its texture and form.
