This 1920s Irish linen, still bearing its original seal, is a beautifully preserved example of early handwork—stitched in soft ecru with scrolling satin-stitch embroidery, tiny padded dots, and openwork lattice corners that frame the scalloped edges with quiet refinement. Its crisp, century-old linen drape and balanced floral motifs make it lovely displayed as a textile, but it would be equally striking repurposed as the front of a custom pillow, allowing the delicate embroidery to become the focal point once again.
