Under a deep stepped cornice, three narrow shelves run across a beaded board back. The sides sweep down in a curve to meet the worktop, which sits over two drawers and a pair of doors with fielded panels, all on turned knobs, with a small iron turn latch. Behind the doors is one full width shelf. The pine is a warm honey, with gaps between the back boards, a faint ring mark on the worktop and a dark seam where the left stile has eased away from the side.
