A footed comport printed in dense green transferware — roses, foliage and scrolled cartouches covering the whole dish, with a teal line at the rim and the pattern carrying on round the pedestal foot. Crazing runs through the glaze and there is light staining in the well. The L. Bertrand Bordeaux stamp sits inside the foot, the same Bordeaux maker as the green plate. Raised, patterned, and the sort of thing that makes an ordinary cake look considered.
