Antique Swedish Wall Cabinet

A floor-standing antique pine bow-front corner cupboard with a pointed triangular pediment, the single curved door decorated with applied nested diamond panel moulding and fitted with an original ornate brass escutcheon and round knob, opening to reveal three bow-front shelves against a simple pine-lined interior, the whole in a warm amber-brown with good age and scattered surface wear throughout. The diamond moulding and pediment give it more presence than its footprint suggests — a strong form for a corner that usually gets nothing.
