These antique wood Etu bowls originated from Niger and are a genuine piece of African history. Each bowl was carved by hand and bears unique details including hand-carved patterns, metal patches, leather cords, cracks etc.
Worn smooth from years of use, a single or double knob was used as a finger rest. Once used for milking cows or holding food, these bowls were passed down from one generation to the next.
