An incredibly rare and large antique English shop counter, c. 19th century, discovered in a centuries-old shop where it had faithfully served for generations. Its ten-drawer front is fitted with original cast-iron bin pulls, each with a rich, timeworn surface. The long form and plinth base give it a commanding presence, while the deep finish and honest wear reflect decades of daily use. Once the heart of a working mercantile space, this piece now offers both abundant storage and remarkable character. We think it would be incredible repurposed as a kitchen island, sideboard, or statement counter in today’s home.
