Found in the Quercy region of southwestern France, this quite rare four-handled pot blends rustic utility with sculptural presence. Hand-formed from local clay, its wide spout and generous handles speak to a life once rooted in daily use—specifically for storing walnut oil within a pantry for lighting. Subtle ridges run down its surface, and traces of mineral deposits and wear lend a natural patina that reflects its age and provenance. Both functional and decorative, it’s a timeless piece that brings understated character to any setting.
Dimensions: 14" handle to handle x 12.25 inches tall at spout
