English pine, stripped back to a soft honeyed tone, with two short drawers over three long ones that graduate down the front. The turned knobs sit a few shades darker than the case — a good contrast against the pale grain — and each drawer keeps its small keyhole. Bracket feet and a shaped apron carry the base, and the molded top edge shows old chatter and softened corners. Roomy and well-proportioned — a real workhorse for a bedroom or a hallway.
